A Woodinville woman was arrested by Bellevue Police for attempted burglary Tuesday afternoon after a Newport Hills homeowner reported catching the suspect trying to pry open her door.
Bellevue Police report the woman fled the scene in a Subaru with no plates, but was later apprehended by motorcycle officers at a checkpoint at the intersection of 119th Avenue Southeast and Coal Creek Parkway.
The suspect is described as being in her late 40s and recently moved here from California.
