OrangeTheory Fitness’ community classes raise awareness during American Heart Month

The company’s goal is to raise $750k for the American Heart Association.

High intensity interval training (HIIT) studio, OrangeTheory Fitness, is teaming up with the American Heart Association on Feb. 19 to raise awareness about heart health, and to support cardiovascular medical research and education on cardiac care.

February marks American Heart Month, and according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, over 650,000 Americans die from heart disease annually.

OrangeTheory Fitness embraces the importance of heart health through allowing members to increase their heart rates and create long-lasting health and wellness routines.

The fitness company will be hosting 90-minute community classes this Saturday, with the company’s goal being to raise $750,000 for the American Heart Association. Community classes are free, and attendees will have the option to make a donation at the end of the session.

Locations and times of community classes include:

  • Redmond (16535 NE 76th Street) at 6:30 a.m.
  • Bellevue (30 Bellevue Way NE) at 7:00 a.m.
  • Mercer Island (2601 76th Avenue SE) at 7:00 a.m.
  • Issaquah (1676 9th Avenue NE #100) at 7:00 a.m.
  • Kirkland (217 Park Lane) at 7:00 a.m.

Those interested in attending a class can do so by visiting OrangeTheory Fitness, selecting the location of the preferred studio, and sign-up for the American Heart Association Donation class.
