The season for farmer’s markets is near and a new 2008 Puget Sound Fresh Farm Guide now is available. The guide is a free publication offering information on local farm products, farmers markets, grocers and restaurants that feature local products and U-pick locations throughout the 12 counties that touch Puget Sound.

The guide can be found at local libraries. It also is on line at www.pugetsoundfresh.org. Guides also will be available at all local farmers markets as they begin opening for the season.

The 36-page edition contains listings for 122 regional farms and farmers markets, including hours they are open and driving directions. U-pick farms are included.
