Medina Police are warning residents about several reports of political campaign signs being stolen from people's yards, cautioning anyone who removes or defaces such a sign found on private property faces misdemeanor charges.

Medina Police are warning residents about several reports of political campaign signs being stolen from people’s yards, cautioning anyone who removes or defaces such a sign found on private property faces misdemeanor charges.

In a news release, Medina Police state anyone with concerns about the placement of a political campaign sign should notify the police at 425-233-6420.

“The Medina Police Department is committed to the political process and the rights of community members to show support for whichever candidate they choose,” the release states.
