Medina Days brings community together

Medina Days’ s annual week-long celebration brought the community together once again for family-fun. The long-standing tradition kicked off this year with a Concert in the Park featuring live music by the Eastside Girls Choir and headliner 4 Outta 5. The evening also included a Back to School and Food drive, a community service project benefiting Hopelink’s End Summer Hunger program.

During the week, community members hit the baseball diamond for a neighborhood tournament and a little friendly competition. The South Point team cleaned up this year, claiming the Medina Day’s Championship Trophy. Mid-week, neighborhood pets’ strutted their stuff during the annual Pet Parade at Medina Elementary.

On Friday, the community joined together for block parties and Saturday brought Medina Days to an end with the traditional neighborhood parade and Kids Carnival at Medina Park.
