Master Builders, Boys and Girls Clubs volunteers paint apartments for homeless teens

The Bellevue-based Master Builders Care Foundation’s 7th Annual Painting a Better Tomorrow event attracted 11 MBA member companies to paint Friends of Youth apartment interiors in Snohomish and King counties. Youth members of the Bellevue Boys & Girls Club joined more than 150 volunteers for the one-day event.

Since the inception of the MBA Painting a Better Tomorrow program in 2003, more than 1,200 home building industry volunteers have painted, done minor repairs and made improvements at 42 agencies in King and Snohomish counties. In 2009 volunteers painted the Bellevue Boys and Girls Clubs.

The Master Builders Association of King and Snohomish Counties (www.masterbuildersinfo.com) is the oldest and largest local homebuilders association in the United States. It is affiliated with the National Association of Home Builders.
