Learn what to do after a heart attack, at Bellevue Fire Department town hall meetings | Heart Week

Dr. David Nelson, a cardiothoracic surgeon with Overlake Hospital Medical Center, will be on hand to provide information.

The Bellevue Fire Department and Overlake Medical Center are hosting a “town hall” meeting about surviving a heart attack tonight, Thursday, at City Hall and at Bellevue Square Mall Friday.

This week, March 17-23, is the fire department’s Heart Week. The theme for 2014 is “Surviving a heart attack, what happens next.”

Dr. David Nelson, a cardiothoracic surgeon with Overlake Hospital Medical Center, will be on hand to provide information.

A final meeting will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Crossroads Bellevue Shopping Center.
