The Lake Heights Family YMCA will celebrate National Healthy Kids Day on Saturday, April 18 to promote youth health and wellness. This year’s event will feature activities and games for kids, plus health and wellness resources for families.

Local vendors include: Dizzy Tumble Bus; Group Health; Chiropractic Wellness Center; Jaicee Designs; L. Boulds Massage; Newcastle Trails; Newcastle Dentistry; City of Bellevue Conservation & Outreach; and the Humane Society of Bellevue

Activities include: carnival games; inflatable bounce house/obstacle course; face painting; make & take recycled art project; sport stacking; climbing wall; basketball shoot; balloonist; and live stage entertainment

The free event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on-site at the new Coal Creek facility that’s under construction.

The first 100 kids will receive a free T-shirt. Raffles held throughout the day will include items such as exercise balls, passes to KidsQuest Children’s Museum and 1-hour massages. People can enter to win a free family membership.
