The KidsQuest Children’s Museum at Factoria Mall received a boost in support recently, thanks to The RealNetworks Foundation.
A $10,000 grant will enable the museum to enhance their educational programs as well as maintain and upgrade their hands-on exhibits for museum-goers.
The RealNetworks Foundation is funded by RealNetworks Inc. as part of its pledge to donate five-percent of its after-tax profits to charity. To date, RealNetworks Inc. has pledged more than $28 million in donations.
“KidsQuest is truly grateful and appreciative of the RealNetworks Foundation support. Their commitment to enhancing the community in which their employees work and live is commendable,” said Robi Zocher, a KidsQuest Children’s Museum Board Member. “We are excited to partner with them to provide educational opportunities for the children in our community.”
KidsQuest is a non-profit children’s museum designed to inspire life-long learning in children and families through interactive exhibits and programs integrating art, science, technology and life experiences.
