Kemper Development has submitted design plans for the expansion of Bellevue Square’s Southeast corner. If approved, the mixed-use project will include a three-story retail podium, three residential towers 17 stories in height and five levels of parking.

The southern tower will dually operate as a hotel on the bottom ten floors, and as residential units on the top seven floors. In all the three towers will total 303 residential units. The 785,531 square-foot project will include demolition of the former Oriental Rug Co., a family-owned business of 32 years and the southeast corner of the parking garage.

A public meeting will be held on Sept. 10 at 6 p.m. at City Hall.
