Joint meeting for Bellevue, Redmond city councils on Tuesday

Bellevue and Redmond city councilmembers will join Tuesday for their first joint meeting in seven years to discuss local and regional issues of mutual concern.

Bellevue and Redmond city councilmembers will join Tuesday for their first joint meeting in seven years to discuss local and regional issues of mutual concern.

The councils will meet 6:30 p.m. at Bytes Cafe in Redmond City Hall for a pre-meeting dinner before addressing a joint agenda that includes an overview of what’s changed in the past seven years.

Staff will discuss demographics and trends of interest, catch officials up on major projects in both cities and review ongoing joint projects.

Once the presentation is concluded, the mayors for Bellevue and Redmond will lead a discussion about issues of interest to both cities and the potential for future collaboration.
