Jewish cultural heritage exhibit on view at City Hall Park

A cultural heritage exhibit on Jewish culture is on display at the Bellevue City Hall Pavilion in City Hall Park, 450 110th Ave. N.E. through May 31.

 

A cultural heritage exhibit on Jewish culture is on display at the Bellevue City Hall Pavilion in City Hall Park, 450 110th Ave. N.E. through May 31.

The exhibit features a walk-through full-scale display of Jewish culture as celebrated in the home, as well as terra cotta and bronze figures that animate the entire space.

Filled with maps, books, artifacts, and photos, the exhibit looks at changes of the last 65 years.

People interested in Jewish history, roots and genealogy are especially welcome on Tuesdays at noon, when a member of the Jewish Genealogy Society will be available for consultation. Children’s storybooks are available and families are welcome to visit.

The exhibit also features a reading area and library, sculpture, informational displays and frequent events.

A $5 donation is suggested to view the exhibit. The exhibit will be one from noon to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Friday. The exhibit will be closed April 15 and 22 for Passover.
