Hydroplane viewing to benefit Food Lifeline set at John Howie Steak

John Howie Steak will hold a benefit at Food Lifeline in Bellevue on Wednesday, Aug. 4.

John Howie Steak will hold a benefit at Food Lifeline in Bellevue on Wednesday, Aug. 4.

The event will include John Howie Steak light hydroplane viewings, autograph sessions with driver Wil Muncey (eldest son of Bill Muncey who won a record number of championships before losing his life in a hydroplane accident at the age of 52), and an opportunity to have photo taken in hydro cockpit. Participants need to bring a can of food and/or a donation for Food Lifeline.

The John Howie Steak will be competing in this weekend’s Graham Trucking Cup Unlimited Light Hydroplane portion of the 2010 Seafair regatta.

The event will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at The Shops at The Bravern, 11111-NE Eighth St., Suite 125.
