Hope Heart Institute holding volunteer workshop

Hope Heart Institute will hold a volunteer workshop October 6. The workshop will allow people to earn more about volunteering opportunities with The Hope, gain skills in effective community outreach, learn about the importance of spreading heart-health information and get more information about upcoming workshops such as stress management, nutrition, fitness, etc.

Hope Heart Institute will hold a volunteer workshop October 6.

The workshop will allow people to earn more about volunteering opportunities with The Hope, gain skills in effective community outreach, learn about the importance of spreading heart-health information and get more information about upcoming workshops such as stress management, nutrition, fitness, etc.

The workshop will feature a 5:30 p.m. dinner and a speech from Kayla Burt, Hope Heart staff member and former University of Washington basketball player. She will share her story and the importance of increasing awareness of heart disease and preventative tools to the public.
