Heywood to run for Bellevue City Council

Lyndon Heywood has announced plans to run for the Bellevue City Council. He will seek Position 2, the seat now occupied by Conrad Lee.

Lyndon Heywood has announced plans to run for the Bellevue City Council. He will seek Position 2, the seat now occupied by Conrad Lee. He is running for council to demonstrate that Bellevue’s government can still be an effective extension of its citizens and to promote increased co-operation across an ever changing Eastside.

Born in Yorkshire, England in 1972, Heywood received a degree in Printing and Manufacturing from Manchester Metropolitan University.He lived in the UK and Scandinavia before moving to the US in 2003. He became a US citizen in late 2011. Heywood has been a citizen of Bellevue and Lake Hills since 2004.

He is a graphic artist, married and the father of two daughters.

Heywood is a member of Redmond’s Pedestrian and Bicycle Advisory Board, its Bicycle Wayfinding Subcommittee and volunteers at Phantom Lake School in Bellevue.
