Hearing set on Enatai Elementary demolition

The Bellevue School District is hosting a public meeting at 6 p.m., Dec. 11 at Bellevue City Hall to discuss its application to demolish the existing Enatai Elementary School.

 

The Bellevue School District is hosting a public meeting at 6 p.m., Dec. 11 at Bellevue City Hall to discuss its application to demolish the existing Enatai Elementary School.

According to application documents, the plan is to remove the building and portables located at 10615 S.E. 23rd St. and replace them with a new 80,000 square foot facility on the site’s 8.52 acres.

The school’s sports field will be relocated with the approval of the application, but it’s unclear at this time exactly where. Parking and landscaping modifications are also included in the application.

Members of the public that want to file comment must do so by 5 p.m. Dec. 11.
