Sheriff’s detectives are looking for a man who robbed a bank in Newcastle at 12:20 p.m., last week, Friday, March 18 at the Key Bank, 6917 Coal Creek Parkway S.E.

The robber went up to a teller and gave her the robbery note.  He did not show or imply that he had a gun.  The teller gave him money from the till and he left the bank on foot.  Newcastle officers and Sheriff’s deputies were not able to locate the man.

The man was described as a white male, about 6 feet tall, thin build, wearing a black jacket with a brown collar, black baseball cap, and light-colored jeans.
