“Father’s First Steps,” a group for new fathers and their babies up to 8 month old, will be offered for beginning April 25.

The group is the only one of its kind in the King County area and is facilitated by an expert in early emotional development, father-infant relationships, attachment issues and adjustment to parenthood. The group meets weekly for 1 1/2 hours for 6 weeks.

The group is offered by New Parents Services located in Bellevue, a branch of Family Services of King County. The organization is a private non-profit organization that has been in Bellevue for 16 years.
