Goodwill to offer free English, computer classes

Bellevue Goodwill’s Job Training and Education Center, located at 14515 NE 20th Street, is currently enrolling people in free classes that run from Jan. 5 to Feb. 26. These courses teach people with significant barriers to employment valuable skills needed to find and keep jobs.

The following classes will be available:

English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) is designed for adults who are learning or want to learn English.

Beginners: Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 1:30 – 3 p.m. or Monday and Wednesday from 5:30 – 7 p.m.

Low Intermediate: Tuesday and Thursday from 8 – 9:30 a.m.

High Intermediate: Tuesday and Thursday from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Computer Fundamentals is an introductory course for people with little or no computer experience.

Monday and Wednesday from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. or Tuesday and Thursday from 5:30 – 7 p.m.

MS Word will teach people how to use the popular computer program.

Monday and Wednesday from 9 – 10:30 a.m.
