Free Seminar on hospice and palliative care offered April 28

Four of the region's health care providers will host a free lecture about hospice and palliative care from 12:30-2:30 p.m. April 28 at the Community Center at Mercer View, 8236 S.E. 24th St.

 

Four of the region’s health care providers will host a free lecture about hospice and palliative care from 12:30-2:30 p.m. April 28 at the Community Center at Mercer View, 8236 S.E. 24th St.

Designed to introduce citizens to the services available to terminally ill patients through hospice and palliative care, the lecture will be presented by Dr. Hope Wechkin, MD, medical director for Evergreen Hospice.

Sponsored by Pacific Regent Bellevue, Evergreen Healthcare, Covenant Shores, and Right at Home, the seminar is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
