Four people were arrested Thursday, Aug. 7 after Sheriff’s detectives and officers served search warrants in Bellevue, Kirkland and SeaTac.

The four businesses searched, two of them in Bellevue, were massage parlors that detectives say actually were fronts for prostitution. Detectives believe the four locations have common owners, managers, and workers.

The Royal Spa was raided in Bellevue at 16407 Lake Hills Blvd. One 33 year-old woman was arrested.

The second Bellevue location was at 10448 N.E. 29th, the Chada Thai Bodywords. Two women were arrested, ages 28 and 36.

Detectives also raided the Lisa Thai Massage in Kirkland at 1942 Market Street. No arrests were made at this location.

The SeaTac location was at 3312 S. 192nd. The business was called Miracle Spa, and one woman was arrested, age 51.

All of the women were booked into the King County Jail on various charges, including Promoting Prostitution and Money Laundering, both felonies. Additional arrests are likely.

No customers were arrested, however detectives seized business records from each location. Any customers who can be identified from the records and/or credit card receipts will be contacted by investigating detectives. Charges are possible.

Patronizing a prostitute is illegal.
