People who dine at Dog in the Park at Bellevue Square on Thursday will help raise money to help CARE help people in Kenya, Ethiopia and Somalia.

Ramazan Senturk, who owns that restaurant, plus Pasha Grill at Redmond Town Center, and another at Seattle’s Westlake Center, will donate half of that day’s sales to help CARE.

Senturk said his effort was prompted after reading news of recent famine further worsening the supply of essentials in this region, and in particular, the Dadaab refugee camps.

Dog in the Park is located at the main entrance to Bellevue Square.
