Elmo’s Birthday
That furry red creature from Sesame Street is having a birthday this week and your little one can celebrate, too. Borders in Redmond Town Center is having a party for Elmo on Saturday, Feb. 26 at 2 p.m.. There will be music, crafts, and stories. Unfortunately, Elmo won’t be there in person but there will be a lot of fun.

Fancy Nancy: Bonjour Butterfly presented by the Evergreen City Ballet
Calling all Fancy Nancy addicts. This weekend, the Evergreen City Ballet will be performing Bonjour Butterfly. To make it an even more stupendous afternoon, Robin Preiss Glasser, the illustrator of this book, will be present to autograph copies of Bonjour Butterfly purchased that day. Peter & The Wolf will also be performed. Buy tickets ASAP (that’s a fancy way of saying they’re going to sellout.). Oh la la.

Royal Etiquette Lessons for boys and girls
In case you didn’t know, there’s a royal wedding approaching. Ok, so unless your last name is Beckham, you’re probably not attending with your family. But if you’ve noticed your kiddo’s manners need a little work, there’s a great workshop at The Northwest Arts Center this Saturday afternoon called The Art of Etiquette – Royal Tea.
Attendees are encouraged to wear their royal attire and bring a cup and a saucer to learn how to properly greet guests, eat a cookie, and other skills needed to have a successful tea party.
