Evergreen Point floating bridge to open Saturday morning and evening for fishing boat

Drivers should plan ahead for delays when the Evergreen Point floating bridge opens Saturday, August 1 for a fishing boat.

Washington State Department of Transportation bridge crews will open the bridge at 9 a.m. to allow the boat to pass through. The drawspan will open again at 9 p.m. for the boat’s return trip. Each opening will last approximately 30 minutes.

Drivers will be alerted to possible 30-minute delays by electronic signs on highways that lead to the bridge. Drivers can take I-90 across Lake Washington to avoid delays.

These openings do not occur when I-90 floating bridge is closed for the Blue Angels’ performance.
