Eastside Baby Corner plans ‘Pants Party’

Eastside Baby Corner will hold a “Pants Party” from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Aug. 21 at its distribution center, 1510 NW Maple St., Issaquah.

People are being urged to donate the pants their children outgrew over the summer, or buy an extra pair while school shopping this year and bring them to the event.

The sizes of pants most needed are 5–14, for boys and girls. EBC volunteers will also be accepting other donations of children’s clothing and materials goods.

EBC helps kids by supplying basic goods for children, birth to age 12, through a network of agencies who are providing services to low-income or homeless families. The agency depends on approximately 100 volunteers each week to meet the needs of an estimated 500 at-risk children in greater east King County every week with car seats, diapers, books, formula, baby food and clothing.
