Eastside Baby Corner is holding an emergency drive to collect diapers to send to Washington communities impacted by the still-burning fires. Those interested in helping are asked to bring, very specifically, Pull-Ups in sizes 2T to 4T and baby wipes to the EBC Hub at 1510 N.W. Maple St. in Issaquah between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. Saturday, July 26.

Wednesday morning EBC received a call from one of the relief organizers in Wenatchee asking for assistance with diapers, wipes and Pull-Ups. EBC had sufficient diapers in stock and were able to commit 10,000 to the relief effort. However, EBC does not have enough Pull-Ups or wipes to contribute, and is asking supporters and the local community to help.

Because the situation is emerging, relief organizers need the diapers quickly. They will be at EBC on Saturday morning at 10 a.m. to collect the diapers.

For more information, or to make a financial contribution for EBC to use to purchase Pull-Ups, call EBC at 425-865-0234 ext. 701.
