Diane Marie Lansdaal of Bellevue died Thursday, March 18, 2010 at home. She was 51.

She was born October 13, 1958 in New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada to Herman and Irene Lansdaal. She attended Odel Junior High School before graduating from Sammamish High School in 1976. In 1981, she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish at the University of Washington.

She worked in accounting at Stevadore Services of America (SSA) until her retirement in 2000. She settled in Bellevue in 2008.

She enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, needlework, spending time with her cat and watching football games and tennis tournaments.

Survivors include her mother, Irene Wale of Bellevue; brother, Michael T. Landsdaal (Chris) of Seattle; two nephews, one niece and a host of extended family members and friends.

The family suggests remembrances to the Humane Society.

A funeral mass will be held 11 a.m., Friday, March 26, 2010 at St. Louise Catholic Church in Bellevue. Private burial will be held at Calvary Cemetery.
