Danielle Seymour, daughter of Randy and Marilee Seymour of Bellevue, received a $1,000 President’s Scholarship for the 2010-2011 academic year at Western Washington University.

President’s Scholarships are awarded to approximately the top 8 to 10 percent of incoming freshmen and transfer students and are based on superior academic achievement.

Seymour, an entering freshman to WWU, earned a 3.92 GPA from her high school and is planning to major in business.
