The 51-year-old victim was found on the shoulder of 118th Avenue Southeast near the Interstate 90 overpass around 6 a.m. on March 23.

The police investigation revealed that the cyclist was traveling eastbound on the Lake-to-lake- bike path and was crossing at a marked crossroad on the 3400 block of 118th Ave. when she was struck by a vehicle traveling southbound.

The victim was thrown appromixately 100 feet. She was transported to Harborview Medical Center for treatment.

In addition, investigators recovered a piece of a headlight from the suspect vehicle, and are asking for assistance in identifying the year, make, and model of the involved vehicle.
