Crossroads Bellevue gets cultural

Crossroads Bellevue hosted its 19th annual Cultural Crossroads celebration Nov. 6-8.

The weekend was filled with musical and dance performances, as well as booths with hand-crafted goods, all representing cultures from around the world.

This year’s events included a coloring activity called “Folk Art For Kids” and an interactive LEGO display with models representing different cultures and nationalities.

Musical guests ranged from Quichua Mashis, which played music from the South American Andes region, to Croatian music from the Ruze Dalmatinke Orchestra.

Dance displays included everything from Egyptian cabaret bellydancing to traditional folk dances of the Philippines.
