Clyde Hill’s Mclain helps club team to Junior Olympics | Volleyball

Clyde Hill resident and Eastside Catholic student Kameron Mclain helped her WVBA-Shannon U16 volleyball team clinch a bid in the Junior Olympics.

The team clinched a spot in the open division – the toughest division in the tournament – with a win in the gold championships earlier this month.

The team will play in Reno from June 29 to July 3 in the Junior Olympics. Mclain, a 6-foot-1 sophomore, is the daughter of Jerry Mclain, a former UW football player who played in two Rose Bowls and in the NFL and CFL.
