Jeff and Nichole Jacobson of Clyde Hill recently ran the New York Marathon on Nov. 6, raising $5,050 for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.The couple’s 13-year-old daughter, Casey, has had the disease for 10 years.

It was the fifth marathon for Nichole and the third for Jeff. Together they have raced in more than 45 events. Casey completed her her first full sprint triathlon in September.
