City hosting Eastgate/I-90 corridor planning open house

The city of Bellevue will host an open house Oct. 2 to share its progress in developing a community vision for the Eastgate/I-90 corridor, which includes business and transportation development on either side of I-90 and east of I-405.

The city of Bellevue will host an open house Oct. 2 to share its progress in developing a community vision for the Eastgate/I-90 corridor, which includes business and transportation development on either side of I-90 and east of I-405.

Attendees can learn about proposed land-use changes, planning for Bellevue Airfield Park, transit, sidewalk and the Mountains to Sound Greenway Trail from 7-8:30 p.m. Thursday at the Newport Library. The meeting focuses on the past two years of work to realized the community vision formed by the city, Bellevue College and the Mountains to Sound Greenway Trust. The Newport Library is at 14250 S.E. Newport Way.
