Charlotte White, a Bellevue resident and junior at Seattle Pacific University, plans to forgo tan lines and burgers this summer to serve on a humanitarian project in Vietnam. White will spend June 17 to July 17 working with Fisher’s Superkids Center in Danang, Vietnam. The organization helps underprivileged children learn English and life skills. White’s trip is part of SPRINT (Seattle Pacific Reachout International), a short-term missions program for students, who raise their own money for airfare, training, room and board, and team expenses.
