It’s Catapalooza time at the Bellevue-based Seattle Humane Society with special adoption discounts Aug. 11-12.

Adoption fees will be waived on first 25 approved Seattle Humane kitten adoptions both days. People should bring their pre-adoption questionnaire with them to the shelter. The shelter opens at 10 a.m. both days. After the first 25, kitten adoptions will be $50 and the fee for adult cats will be waived all weekend.

In addition to the discounts, there will be activities for kids, kitten tents, cat demos, and more. The Catapalooza will feature nine local animal agencies under one roof.

The Humane Society is located at 13212 SE Eastgate Way, Bellevue.
