Will Badart, a 9th grade student attending Bellevue’s International School, participated in the Senate Page Program at the Washington State Legislature. He was sponsored by Sen. Rodney Tom, D-Bellevue.

Pages deliver mail, run errands, present the flag and learn parliamentary procedure firsthand. Students also try their hand at drafting a bill and engage in a mock session. During the mock session, Will helped write a bill to mandate vehicle emissions testing in Washington state.

Following high school, Will would like to attend college at a business school on the East Coast or in Southern California. His interests and favorite activates include track, model UN and studying German.

Will is the son of Marcel and Elizabeth Badart of Clyde Hill.
