Bellevue student at BCC wins scholarship

Tess McMillan, of Bellevue, has received a Washington Award for Vocational Excellence (WAVE) scholarship from the state Workforce Training and Education Coordinating Board. McMillan is a student at Bellevue Community College studying .NET Programming and Web Development.

Tess McMillan, of Bellevue, has received a Washington Award for Vocational Excellence (WAVE) scholarship from the state Workforce Training and Education Coordinating Board. McMillan is a student at Bellevue Community College studying .NET Programming and Web Development.

The WAVE scholarship program was established by the Legislature in 1984 to recognize, reward and assist students who excel in career and technical education.

The Workforce Training and Education Coordinating Board (Workforce Board) administers the award each year.
