Bellevue seeking volunteers for several positions

A reliable, friendly Nature Center host/hostess is needed at the visitor’s center at Lewis Creek Park, 5808 Lakemont Blvd. in Bellevue. Duties include greeting visitors, leading tours and light administrative duties. Hours are flexible. A love of nature is preferred.

Youth Volunteers are needed for Teen Closet, a clothing bank program operated by Bellevue Youth Link, in partnership with Plato’s Closet and the World Impact Network. Volunteers classify and set out donations, and assist clients.

Those interested in donating items should drop them off at 2015 Richards Road in Bellevue.

The Bellevue Police Department needs volunteers to staff its three community police stations. These are located in the Crossroads area, inside Factoria Mall and at the Downtown Transit Center.

Volunteers answer phones, assist walk-in visitors, and help the station officer with special projects and community events. Shifts vary by location.

Successful applicants will be at least 21 years old, have a strong customer-service orientation, and be able to pass a rigorous background investigation process.
