Bellevue seeking candidates for Human Services and Arts commissions

The Bellevue City Council is seeking candidates for vacancies on the Arts and Human Services Commissions.

 

The City Council is seeking candidates for vacancies on the Arts and Human Services Commissions.

The Human Services Commission advises the council concerning human services planning and funding. Meetings are the first and third Tuesday of each month; 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. at City Hall. Applications will be accepted through March 29.

The Arts Commission advises the council about arts issues in Bellevue, including the biennial sculpture exhibition, neighborhood public art projects and funding for local artists and arts organizations serving Bellevue. Meetings are the first Tuesday of each month at 4 p.m. in City Hall. Applications will be accepted through April 15.

Residents can apply online at http://www.bellevuewa.gov/apply-boards.htm or pick up an application from the City Clerk’s Office or the Service First desk in City Hall, 450 110th Ave. NE, as well as in the Bellevue Regional Library, the Lake Hills Library or Mini City Hall at Crossroads Bellevue. Those interested can request an application be faxed to you by calling 452-6466.

Paper applications may be handwritten, typed or computer-generated; a resume may be attached. They must go to the Clerk’s Office, P.O. Box 90012, Bellevue, WA 98009-9012.
