Bellevue robotics team heads to world championships

Robo Thunder, a robotics team from Tyee Middle School, competed in the FIRST Robotics World Championship in St. Louis, Missouri this week. They will challenge 127 other teams from 16 nations.

Robo Thunder, a robotics team from Tyee Middle School, competed in the FIRST Robotics World Championship in St. Louis, Missouri this week. They will challenge 127 other teams from 16 nations.

They qualified for the championship after competing in the super-regional tournament last month. The team members are: Nathaniel Chang, Ashley Mead, Diana Ouyang, Alex Qiu, Everett Rendon, Katrina Rowland, Acchin Thev, and Hannah Wang.
