Bellevue Parks Yes! has presented the Bellevue PTSA Council a check to create a new Bellevue Parks scholarship.

Drawing from this fund, the Bellevue PTSA Council will annually award a $1,000 scholarship to one Bellevue School District graduate. The scholarship will be awarded to a senior who has demonstrated a passion for the outdoors, and an awareness of the value the Bellevue parks system brings to the quality of life in the city.

The recipient will have a focus on the environment and earth sciences. The recipient will be a graduating senior who plans to continue his or her education at an accredited college, university, technical or trade school.

Application forms may be obtained from each high school counselor’s office or from the Bellevue PTSA Council website, www.bellevueptsacouncil.org.
