The Bellevue Overlake Rotary Club will switch its meeting time to 4 p.m. beginning next week in an effort to attract new members.
The new time will be effective Sept. 21. The club meets Wednesdays at The Harbor Club.
“We want to be a little different, and we’re hoping the change will attract new members,” said Overlake Rotary President Robert Hartman.
Hartman added that “there are other great, local clubs that meeting for lunch or breakfast.”
The club, chartered in 1981, partners with organizations such as Eastside Salvation Army, Hopelink, and several local schools to provide community service.
