Bellevue LifeSpring has named Jennifer Fischer as executive director. Fischer previously held the position of vice president of Sales and Marketing for the Bellevue Downtown Association.

“We had been searching for an executive director for several months, wondering if we would be able to find just the right fit and she was right under our nose the entire time,” said Trish Carpenter, Bellevue LifeSpring’s president and Chair of the board. “Jennifer has worked closely with Bellevue LifeSpring during her time at the BDA and has been a volunteer member of our organization for several years. Her commitment to building a strong community in Bellevue is the perfect fit to move our organization forward in our mission.”

Fischer was with the downtown association for nearly nine years. During her tenure the association’s annual sponsorship sales and membership dues both increased by over 50 per cent. Prior to working at the BDA, Fischer served as director of marketing and sponsorships with the Seafair organization and before that was marketing Director of Seattle Center.

“I’m excited to be working for an organization that is so well-respected in the community and has such a broad base of support,” Fischer said. “I look forward to building on the legacy of success established by the previous leadership of the organization and serving the community in which I live.”

Bellevue LifeSpring began in 1911. The organization works to foster stability and self-sufficiency for Bellevue’s children and their families through programs that feed, clothe and educate. More information is available at www.BellevueLifeSpring.org.
