Less than a month after a cyclist was hit and left for dead by a driver, a Bellevue man captured his own collision with a car on camera.

The video (see above) captured by Dan Scarf on a GoPro camera on April 13, shows him riding his bicycle home from work on a residental street in Bellevue before being hit by an unknown truck or SUV.

Witnesses debate trying to chase down the driver — who reportedly did not stop after hitting Scarf — before calling an ambulance. Scarf reportedly broke his hip after being knocked off of his bike.

The incident comes a few weeks after a Bellevue woman was hit on 118th Avenue Southeast and suffered life-threatening injuries. Police are still searching for the driver in that crash.
