Bellevue College’s parent education program is holding a series of open houses Feb. 4-16 for parents and their children interested in signing up for classes. Attendees can meet faculty, get more information about classes, and learn how to enroll.

Classes offered are shared – both kids and their parents attend the same class. Each class focuses on one of several distinct age levels, ranging from infants through seven years of age, with curriculum designed specifically for each stage of development.

“In all of our classes, we offer active learning experiences for young children and their parents, plus information parents can use to improve their relationship with their children,” said Lisa Allen, the program’s director. “It’s fun because parents and children play and learn together, which also makes our classes unique,”

The following open houses will be held in the Bellevue area:

Feb. 4

· Eastgate Toddlers (for ages 2-3) – noon to 1 p.m.., Eastgate Congregational Church

· Discovery Lab (for ages 5-7) – 4-4:30 p.m., Robinswood Barn

Feb. 5

· Creative Development Lab (for ages 3 to 5) – 2:45-3 p.m., BC Campus

· Evening Infants (for newborns to 12 months) – 5:15-6:15 p.m., BC Campus

Feb. 6

· North Bellevue Toddlers (for ages 1 to 2) – 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Bellevue Christian Church

· Crossroads Toddlers (for ages 2 to 3) – noon to 1 p.m., St. Peter’s Methodist Church

· Discovery Lab (for ages 5-7) – 2:15-2:45 p.m., Robinswood Barn

· Infants/Wobblers (for newborns to 12 months), 2:30 to 3:30 p.m., BC Campus

Feb. 8

· Overlake Toddlers (for ages 2 to 3) & Young 3’s (for ages 2.5-3) – 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Church of the Resurrection

· North Bellevue Toddlers (for ages 1 to 2) – 1-2 p.m., Bellevue Christian Church

· Creative Development Lab (for ages 3 to 5) – 11:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., BC Campus

Feb. 16

· Dad and Me (for ages 2.5 to 7), 9-10:30 a.m., BC Campus
