A class in basic boating will be taught from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, April 17 at Bellevue Golf Club conference room.

The class targets young boaters ages 12 – 30 who are required to obtain a Boater’s Card if operating a boat or personal water craft.

Upon completion of the class and passing the test, a certificate is awarded with the application for the boater’s card. Cost of the class is $40 and sign up can be done online at www.bellevuepowersquadron.org/education.

A box lunch will be provided for each participant.
