Assistance League of the Eastside continues to serve the local Bellevue community with its signature program, Operation School Bell.

The all-volunteer philanthropic organization raises funding year round to help purchase back-to-school clothing for low-income and homeless students in the Bellevue, Lake Washington and Northshore school districts. The students are selected by their school counselors.

This year, more than 2,700 students will benefit from the program which continues through the end of October at local Fred Meyer stores in Bellevue, Kirkland and Redmond.

Since 1992 Assistance League of the Eastside has clothed over 23,000 students in the three school districts. To date, the organization has contributed over $2.2 million back into our community through Operation School Bell.
