An adults-only carnival to raise funds for KidsQuest Children’s Museum will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5 at Meydenbauer Center in Bellevue. A combination of grown-up carnival and gala dinner, KidsQuest’s only public fundraiser has drawn a crowd of local business owners, philanthropists and parents for the past five years, with 450+ guests enjoying boardwalk-style carnival games, prizes, dinner and drinks.

In 2012, the KidsQuest Carnival raised over $230,000 to support STEM education at the museum.

KidsQuest Children’s Museum, a nonprofit organization recognized by the Washington State Department of Early Learning, offers families the opportunity to explore, play and learn through interactive exhibits and educational programs that prepare children for success in school and later in life. More than 180,000 people visit KidsQuest each year, and the organization has received numerous local awards including Best Kid-Friendly Museum and Best Non-Profit.

Carnival is made possible through the support of generous community sponsors including: Walmart, Expedia, GLY Construction, Capstone Partners, Boeing, Factoria Pediatric Dentistry, Fortin Group, Hasbro Children’s Fund, JTM Construction and The Portico Group.

Tickets are $125 per person and are on sale now at kidsquestmuseum.org/carnival. RSVP deadline is Sept. 30.
