AAUW honors Bellevue students

Girls from the Bellevue School District were honored at an April 17 reception by the Lake Washington Branch of the American Association of University Women as part of AAUW Scholars program.

 

Girls from the Bellevue School District were honored at an April 17 reception by the Lake Washington Branch of the American Association of University Women as part of AAUW Scholars program.

Each was chosen by her school as outstanding in math, science, or technology.

Math winners are: Ayane Rossano, Bellevue High School; Kathleen Zhou, Interlake High School; Julia Joo, International School; Rachel Eulau, Newport High School; and Amber Leigh Garcia, Sammamish High School.

Science winners are: Clancy Lee, Bellevue High School; Kanika Verma, Interlake High School; Katerina Zouboulakis, International School;

Marija Petkovic, Newport High School; and Sharon Ma, Sammamish High School.

Technology winners are: Rachel Green, Interlake High School;

Da-Hee Im, International School; Alisha Meherally, Newport High School; and

Farah Uraizee, Sammamish High School.
