As Bellevue’s Boy Scout Troop 600 celebrates its 55th anniversary, seven of it’s Scouts will be recognized in June for achieving scouting’s highest honor, the rank of Eagle Scout. To earn the Eagle Scout rank a scout must fulfill requirements in areas of leadership and service along with demonstrating outdoor proficiency and life skills.

Troop 600 will be holding an ‘Eagle Court of Honor’ ceremony on June 28 to recognize the achievements of the new Eagle Scouts: Drew Carlson, Jacob Greene, Wes Kapioski, Braden Laurance, Parker Sevier, Ben Smith and Andrew Swift.

Each of the Troop 600 Eagle Scouts has organized and led community service projects in the community including improvements to local parks and trails and assisting various charitable organizations.
